Cladding Technical Sales & Support Specialist – Competitive Salary + Bonuses & Benefits – London, SE11

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware individual to join our team as a Cladding Technical Sales & Product Support Specialist in the cladding sector. This hybrid role combines technical sales with support for product development, certification, and internal coordination.

You will work closely with the Sales Team and Management to contribute to business growth while ensuring our cladding solutions meet both customer expectations and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a solid technical background with an understanding of how to support commercial objectives.

This role involves delivering technical support, contributing to product development and documentation, and providing input into sales materials and pricing. Experience working in a dual-role environment, combining technical responsibilities with some exposure to commercial or cross-functional collaboration, would be highly beneficial.

This is a fully office-based position at 1 Bedlam Mews, London, SE11.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with technical knowledge, client meetings, and product presentations
  • Respond to technical inquiries, offering tailored solutions and advice on our product range
  • Collaborate with the R&D Manager to develop and certify new cladding systems
  • Assist in preparing technical sales materials, quotations, and pricing strategies
  • Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software
  • Manage product certification and accreditation processes, maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinate with internal departments (design, production, and customer service) to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as a technical expert
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support innovation and product positioning
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and address any technical issues

The Person

  • Background in the cladding sector such as engineering, architecture, construction, or a related technical field
  • Strong understanding of cladding systems, building envelopes, and certification processes
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into client-friendly language
  • Experience in technical sales, client-facing roles, or technical support is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software for producing technical drawings
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
