Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Cladding Estimator to join the pre-construction team in Manchester. You will prepare competitive estimates for cladding, façade and building envelope projects, review drawings and documentation, and produce detailed take-offs and pricing schedules.

You will also obtain quotations, identify value engineering opportunities and assess risks throughout tenders. The ideal candidate will have proven estimating experience in cladding/facades, strong commercial acumen,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator within cladding/façades/building envelope sector.
• Strong understanding of façade systems, rainscreen cladding, EWI, or remediation projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines.
• Proactive, organised and commercially focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for cladding, façade and building envelope projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Produce detailed take-offs, cost plans and pricing schedules.
• Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Assess commercial and technical risks throughout the tender process.
• Prepare comprehensive tender submissions within deadlines.
• Work closely with design, commercial and operational teams.
• Support client meetings and tender interviews as required.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
