Job summary

Bimplus in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Assistant Estimator to join the pre-construction team. You will assist with estimating cladding and façade projects, review drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors throughout tenders.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or construction support roles.
• Experience with cladding, façades, roofing, glazing preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of accurate estimates for cladding and façade projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Produce quantity take-offs and assist with cost plans.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support tender submissions and pricing schedules.
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with estimating, commercial, and design teams throughout the tender process.
• Maintain accurate tender documentation and estimating records.
