CK Group is recruiting for an experienced Senior Protein Scientist with a background in antibody pre-clinical development and expertise in using Octet or Biacore systems, to join a growing biotechnology company based in London on a permanent basis.

The Company:

A global biotech company specialising in immuno-oncology.

Location:

London.

The Role:

This is a lab-based role offering a great opportunity to contribute to innovation across the company's pipeline and platforms. You will be involved in designing and executing experiments related to antibody discovery and characterisation, pre-clinical development, and supporting product discovery and development projects. Additional laboratory activities will also be part of your responsibilities.

Your Background:

• PhD in biological or biochemical sciences, with over 5 years of experience in academia and the biotechnology industry.
• Understanding of biologic product discovery and antibody pre-clinical development processes.
• Strong background in drug discovery.
• Technical skills including AKTA, protein expression in bacterial and mammalian cells, protein purification, and characterisation (affinity determination, cell binding, etc.).
• Extensive experience with Octet, SPR, or Biacore systems, and mammalian cell bioreactors (ESSENTIAL).
