Job description

CK Group is recruiting for an experienced Senior Protein Scientist with a background in antibody pre-clinical development and expertise in Octet or Biacore systems, to join a growing biotechnology company based in London, on a permanent basis.

The Company:

A global biotech company specialising in immuno-oncology.

Location:

London.

The Role:

This is a lab-based role offering a great opportunity to contribute to the innovation across the company's pipeline and platforms. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments in antibody discovery, characterisation, and pre-clinical development, as well as other laboratory activities.

Your Background:

• PhD in biological or biochemical sciences, with over 5 years of experience in academia and the biotechnology industry.
• Understanding of biologic product discovery and antibody pre-clinical development processes.
• Strong background in drug discovery.
• Technical skills including AKTA, protein expression from bacterial and mammalian cells, protein purification, and characterisation (affinity, cell binding, etc.).
• Extensive experience with Octet, SPR, or Biacore systems and mammalian cell bioreactors (ESSENTIAL).
