Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a Civils Team Leader - IMR in Ipswich for a permanent/full-time role. You will lead operatives, ensure safe, compliant workmanship, and support on-site delivery of utility services to customers.

Responsibilities include safety, site coordination with engineers, reporting incidents, attending toolbox talks, liaising with clients, and being on-call 1-4 on a 7-day rota. Requires CSCS, driving licence, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small drainage or construction teams.
• CSCS card.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit to carry out manual labour.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Willingness to travel to various sites.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead operatives to deliver on-site project works safely and to a high standard.
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Attend stand downs, team briefs and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate workflow with engineers and supervisors.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools for drainage work.
• Represent the company professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Be on-call on a 1–4 rota over a 7-day period.
