Job summary

Inform3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civils Site Foreman to join a busy construction team in Northern Ireland. You will supervise groundworks and civils on residential developments, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely and on programme.

A strong understanding of drainage, foundations, roads and external works is essential. Applicants should have previous Civils/Site Foreman experience and be able to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as Civils Foreman / Site Foreman.
• Strong background in residential groundworks and civils.
• Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Full driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervising day-to-day civils and groundworks activities on a residential development.
• Managing site operatives and coordinating subcontractors.
• Setting out and overseeing drainage, foundations, roads, kerbing and associated external works.
• Reading and working from drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme.
• Liaising with the Site Manager, engineers and project team.
• Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and specification.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
• Organising labour, plant and materials as required.
• Reporting on progress and identifying any issues arising on site.

INFORM3 are currently seeking an experienced Civils Site Foreman to join a busy construction team working on a residential developments in Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will have strong experience supervising groundworks and civil engineering activities on residential developments, with the ability to lead site crews, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Civils Site Foreman Key Responsibilities

• Supervising day-to-day civils and groundworks activities on a residential development
• Managing site operatives and coordinating subcontractors
• Setting out and overseeing drainage, foundations, roads, kerbing and associated external works
• Reading and working from drawings and specifications
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme

• Ability to read construction drawings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant site tickets/qualifications would be advantageous
• Full driving licence desirable
