Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for a Site Manager role on residential developments in Northern Ireland. The position covers high-volume social housing projects, overseeing multiple sites, coordinating labour, procurement and schedule delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years as a Site Manager with a main contractor in NI or ROI, a degree in construction management or equivalent, and solid IT skills including MS Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong H&S knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage site programme and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and residential projects and manage manpower on site including direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Supervise works on site to ensure quality, timeliness and budget adherence.
• Host weekly meetings with senior management and clients on project progress.
• Plan and coordinate daily site requirements including labour and materials to meet deadlines.
• Record performance and progress of site operations and ensure compliance procedures.

Job Title – Site Manager

Project – Residential New Build

Job Location – Belfast

Salary - £45K - £5K + package

About the Company

Working with an industry leading Developer who specialises in high volume residential developments across Northern Ireland.

Projects in a range between private and social housing developments up to 400 units on each site.

They require a strong site manager with experience in delivering high volume social housing developments.

Ideally will have a proven record for turning over 50+ units per year.

The Role

• Oversee commercial and residential projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Host weekly meetings to update senior management and clients on project progress.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trade Qualification.
• Applicants must have experience delivering a social housing development in Northern Ireland.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience working as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor in NI or ROI.
• Strong awareness of H&S and Health and Welfare Regulations and ability to implement these regulations on site.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
