Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Project Manager - Civils to lead the contract team responsible for delivering civil works safely, on time and within budget. Based at Claret Head Office, you will drive end-to-end operations for large-scale projects and provide hands-on leadership on site.

You will manage a team, ensure work is completed right first time, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification and CDM/Temporary Works knowledge.
• NVQ Level 6 or equivalent qualification.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Financial and commercial accountability.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating a team, delegating where appropriate, but leading by example.
• Ensure all work is completed right first time and within budget.
• Coordinate with contract team; keep Operations Manager updated on delays or ahead of programme.
• Own processes; implement efficient, safe methods and systems of work.
• Complete Health & Safety incident and damage reports; conduct investigations as needed.
• Liaise with subcontractors and drive continual improvements with operational teams.
