Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Project Manager - Civils for the Claret team in Bury St Edmunds. You will lead end-to-end civil activities, manage a site-based team, and collaborate with the Operations Manager/Director to meet client needs while delivering safely, on time and within budget.

You will drive efficient methods, work with sub-contractors, ensure training and competencies, and maintain KPI targets in a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• SMSTS required.
• CDM and Temporary Works knowledge.
• NVQ level 6 or equivalent qualification.
• IOSH managing safely.
• Financial and commercial accountability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team to hit delivery targets.
• Ensure work is completed right first time within budget.
• Keep the operations manager informed of delays or ahead of programme.
• Own processes and implement safe methods of work.
• Produce safety reports and carry out investigations as needed.
• Drive continual improvements with operational teams.
• Meet client and operational requirements professionally.
• Provide daily/weekly reports and achieve KPIs.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors.
• Ensure staff have necessary training and competencies.
• Coach and develop staff.
• Conduct site inspections and close-call reporting.
