Job summary

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee highways and civil engineering projects across the UK, based in Bury St Edmunds with travel to sites. The role requires proven management skills, strong planning and a proactive, commercially aware approach.

You will lead site teams, build client relationships and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high standards of safety and quality.

Job Title: Project Manager - Highways & Civil Engineering

Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (travel to sites required)

Salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum + £6,000 car allowance

Role Overview:

An established infrastructure and civil engineering business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of highways and civil engineering projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially aware professional to lead site teams, build strong client relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Proven project management experience within highways or civil engineering.
• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 6, SMSTS and CSCS Gold Card.
• Strong understanding of project planning, programme management and project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Project.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
