Job summary

M Group Holdings plc in the UK is recruiting a Civil Operative to join the construction team on the IOS contract for Anglian Water. You will support the Ganger with contract activities and carry out civil installations across the Anglian Water Region.

The role requires specific accreditations, a valid UK driving licence, and site safety responsibilities. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and meeting project deadlines is highlighted throughout the advert.

• 10t Dumper NPORS or equivalent
• Clean water hygiene card is desirable

Responsibilities

• As a Civil Operative you will be part of the construction team working with a Ganger responsible for contract support
• You will work on the IOS contract for Anglian Water, supporting operations and completing civil installations in the Anglian Water Region
• You will set up and maintain a safe site and handle excavations
• You’ll manage shuttering for concrete pours and steelwork for concrete structures
• You will handle pipework, DI, Electrofusion and butt welding
• You’ll manage plant and site materials and undertake a range of activities to support the contract

Where will you be working?

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

As a Civil Operative you'll be part of our construction team working with a Ganger who are responsible for Contract Support.

You’ll be working on the IOS contract for Anglian Water, supporting the operations and completing civil installations in the Anglian Water Region

You’ll set up and maintain a safe sight along with handling any excavations.

We’ll need you to handle the shuttering for concrete pours and steelwork for any concrete structures.

You’ll be handling pipework, DI, Electrofusion and butt welding.

You’ll manage plant and site materials along with a variety of other activities to support the contract.

What you’ll bring

• Do you have aNRWSRA and Streetworks accreditation?
• Do you hold a 10t Dumper NPORS or equivalent?
• Have you got a Clean water hygiene card? This is desirable
• Do you hold a valid UK driving license?
• Are you First Aid trained? This is desirable
