Job summary

SGH Civils & Surfacing Ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and deliver civils contracts across drainage, roads and earthworks. You will work closely with site teams, clients and suppliers to ensure safe, on-time and on-budget project delivery.

The role requires strong organisational and leadership skills, experience managing multiple contracts, and a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will contribute to profitability and project performance across our civils

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the civils/groundworks/civil engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of drainage, roads and sewers and earthworks.
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple civils projects from planning through to completion.
• Oversee budgets, programmes and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor project costs, profitability and resource planning.
• Liaise with clients, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate works.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings and ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
