AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Water Engineering Technical Director to lead as a technical expert and drive business results across the UK water sector. The role involves shaping technical strategy, delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects and guiding the national Civil Water Engineering capability.

The successful candidate will have Chartered status, demonstrated leadership of large-scale water projects, and a strong grasp of design codes (Eurocodes/NEC) with excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Water Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Civil Water Engineer with recognised professional status.
Extensive leadership experience on complex, high-risk projects.
Experience in the UK Water market is essential.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design and delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for national D&AT practice.
Act as technical authority across Civil Water Engineering.
Lead bid input and strategize delivery on complex projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and domains.
Drive process and technical improvements while upholding governance.
Grow and manage Civil Water capability within the practice.
