Civil Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Technician to join a leading engineering and consultancy firm based in Wakefield. The company specializes in projects within the Energy sector, including Substations, EV stations, and drainage projects, with a commitment to delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of infrastructure.

Position Overview

• Utilize extensive experience to lead and contribute to civil engineering designs and models using Revit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless integration of civil designs into larger projects.
• Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to improve engineering processes.

Position Requirements

• Experienced Civils CAD Technician.
• Ideally with Substation/Energy experience.
• Knowledge of drainage, highways, and complex foundations.
• Proficiency in Revit for civil engineering design and modeling.
• Strong understanding of relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UK Driving Licence.
• Living within a commutable distance to Wakefield.
