Job summary

Glanville Environmental is a well-established drainage and civil engineering company operating since 1983 in the South West and Midlands. This frontline, multifunctional role covers civil works, lining, and pipe bursting across SWW's areas, coordinating a small team and delivering planned and reactive tasks.

You will perform site tasks safely, conduct risk assessments, maintain documentation, and liaise with client representatives while upholding health and safety standards and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have previous industry experience in civil engineering/utilities.
• Advantageous to have experience in CIPP lining & patch lining.
• Experience using no dig techniques (pipe bursting, re-rounding).
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Knowledge of WRC Sewers standards/details.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage team members and complete tasks as directed by line manager.
• Carry out works safely and in accordance with specifications and current legislation.
• Undertake dynamic risk assessments for all tasks and keep them updated.
• Prepare comprehensive job packs including GRNs, plant hires, site time, and feedback.
• Liaise with client site representatives, stakeholders, and the public as required.
• Ensure PPE compliance and adherence to health and safety legislation.
• Carry out PUWER, LOLER, vehicle inspections and related paperwork.
• Utilise equipment such as discs, breaking tools, compaction gear, and various hand tools.
