Job summary

Glanville Environmental operates in drainage and civil engineering across the South West and Midlands. We seek a frontline supervisor to coordinate a multifunctional team delivering planned and minor reactive works.

You will manage tasks, maintain safety standards, perform risk assessments, and ensure accurate job packs with commercial details. Strong communication with client representatives and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering/utilities sectors.
• Experience with CIPP lining and patch lining is advantageous.
• Experience repairing pipelines with no-dig techniques (pipe bursting, re-rounding).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage team members and tasks as directed by line manager.
• Carry out works safely and in accordance with specifications and legislation.
• Undertake dynamic risk assessments for all tasks.
• Complete comprehensive job packs capturing GRNs, plant hires, time on site, and feedback.
• Liaise with client site representatives and stakeholders.
• Ensure PPE compliance and health and safety standards.
• Perform PUWER, LOLER, vehicle inspections and related paperwork.
• Operate equipment such as disc cutters and hand tools.
• Report defective equipment and arrange repairs or replacements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of vans and equipment.
• Assist in depot safety and material/equipment flow.
• Ad-hoc duties as required by management.
