Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Civil and Structural Engineering Manager for a 5-6 month contract with a Local Authority in Dudley. You will lead the Civil & Structural Engineering team, overseeing highway structures, flood risk, and geotechnical work to safeguard and improve the borough’s infrastructure.

The role requires extensive civil/structural engineering expertise, strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and solid budget and project management, with a daily rate of £300

Qualifications

• Extensive civil/structural engineering experience in highways or infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and large programmes.
• Budget, financial planning and resource allocation competence.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and health and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage Civil, Structural, Flood Risk, and Geotechnical engineering services.
• Oversee capital works, maintenance programs, and highway-structure projects.
• Direct flood risk identification, mitigation, and management efforts.
• Supervise geotechnical investigations and projects.
• Act as the Council's Engineer/Project Manager for civil and structural projects.
• Manage technical approvals for bridges, retaining walls, and highways.
• Provide expert engineering advice to senior management and external agencies.
