Job summary

Crouch Waterfall in Warrington is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team. You’ll contribute to the design and assessment of large-scale structures, including bridges, structural steelwork, and temporary works, while developing your technical capability on challenging programmes.

Reporting to the Associate, you’ll collaborate with wider project teams, manage workloads to meet deadlines, and pursue Chartered status with support from the group as you gain hands-on

Qualifications

• Experience in design of large-scale structures (bridges, steelwork, concrete).
• Background in infrastructure, major projects or heavy industry, rail exposure beneficial.
• Pursuing professional accreditation with support toward Chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in delivering large-scale civil & structural design projects.
• Undertake design and analysis for major infrastructure schemes, including rail structures and temporary works.
• Prepare calculations and drawings using hand methods and software under guidance.
• Carry out site inspections and assessments of existing structures, contributing to reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Liaise with clients to clarify project scope and support delivery.
