Job summary

Lusona Consultancy is recruiting a Civil or Structural Design Engineer in Crieff, Scotland, for a permanent position. You will work within a multidisciplinary team on design, analysis and delivery from concept through to construction across diverse sectors.

The role requires a BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least 2 years’ post-graduate experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Teklated and BIM processes, and a drive toward Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in a design role.
• Experience designing with reinforced concrete and steel.
• Strong understanding of Eurocodes and UK design standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Salary up to £55,000 (DoE).

Responsibilities

• Undertaking civil and structural design and analysis.
• Producing engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Reviewing and coordinating drawings and project information.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring designs comply with Eurocodes, UK standards, and project requirements.
• Supporting junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement.
