Job summary

Lusona Consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team in the UK. You will deliver high-quality civil designs for major power, energy and infrastructure projects, including substations and grid connections, while developing your professional chartership.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, opportunities to work across sectors, and a path toward Chartered Engineer status with support for professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify civil engineering solutions for infrastructure and energy projects.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, reports and design documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop safe, efficient and sustainable project solutions.
• Review engineering calculations and subcontractor designs for compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Support the successful delivery of projects from concept through to construction.
• Assist with technical problem-solving and project coordination activities.
• Contribute to the development and mentoring of graduate and early-career engineers.
• Promote engineering best practice, quality assurance and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Liaise effectively with clients, contractors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
