You will be working in a fast paced environment, where you get to run your own jobs and work with exclusive high end clients across residential, student accommodation, commercial, offices, etc. You will be given autonomy to make your own decisions while having the necessary support for you to successfully deliver projects.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and signing off structural designs for a wide range of residential housing developments. You’ll work closely with design teams, clients, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building standards and regulations. Your role will involve:
- Leading structural design and certification for housing projects
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensuring all work complies with SER protocols and Scottish Building Standards
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineers
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or other relevant subject
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
- SER Certified for Scotland
- Proven experience delivering structural engineering solutions in residential projects
- Strong understanding of Scottish Building Regulations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
