Job summary

Graham Group in Glasgow is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major civil-engineering project. You will lead commercial activities, manage budgets, and oversee main contracts and subcontracts.

The role requires NEC experience (Option C preferred), delay analysis, and proven senior QS capability on highways, rail or marine projects. MRICS/MCICES desirable.

You will collaborate with project teams, produce forecasts, and ensure cost control and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable qualification in quantity surveying or civil engineering.
• Experience at senior commercial/quantity surveying level on heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial function: budgets, cost codes, main contracts and subcontracts.
• Procure subcontract packages and report expenditure.
• Forecast remaining costs and prepare monthly payment applications.
• Administer contracts and manage variations and compensation events.
• Prepare delay analyses and associated claims.
