Qualifications

Civil QC Inspector - Energy Construction Project
  • 📍 Talacre, North Wales
  • 💰 Negotiable Day Rate | Outside IR35
  • ⏱️ 5.5 days on site per week
  • ⏰ 12+ month contract

Ceto Talent is partnering with a leading EPC contractor, delivering large-scale and complex energy projects onshore and offshore.

We're looking for an experienced industry professional to join as their Civil QC Inspector on this exciting and UK-first Carbon Capture project within Liverpool Bay.

You will execute the specific inspections on material, equipment, steel structures, construction/installation activities and HVAC on site, in accordance with the QC Plan.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Follow company quality procedures and issue required quality reports
  • Report any quality issues to the Quality Control Supervisor
  • Make sure foundations and reinforcement work are prepared correctly
  • Monitor weather and curing conditions during concrete pouring
  • Check certifications for concrete mixes and material tests
  • Review lab results for soil and concrete strength, materials and pouring activities
  • Keep all test and inspection documents organized
  • Ensure all records are included in the final as-built documentation
  • Oversee subcontractors to ensure they follow approved inspection and test plans, and collect related documentation
  • Confirm the work meets the Quality Control Plan and secure all required records
What We're Looking For
  • Education: Degree in civil engineering
  • Experience: Proven experience as Civil QC Inspector within the Oil & Gas industry, or similar
  • Certification: Quality Control inspection
  • Eligibility: Legal right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
