Henley Chase is seeking a Civils Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects from mobilisation to completion. You will oversee site operations, manage teams and subcontractors, and ensure delivery to schedule, budget and specification.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and effective communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams, with a focus on progressing programmes and resolving issues to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification required.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Managers & Professionals card required.
• First Aid qualification essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities to deliver on programme, within specification and budget.
• Take overall responsibility for health and safety compliance on site.
• Lead and manage site teams, labour and subcontractors effectively.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project.
• Act as key point of contact for clients and communicate progress clearly.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure adequate labour resources meet programme requirements.
• Coordinate material and plant deliveries with procurement and programmes.
• Monitor quality of workmanship by subcontractors and site teams.
• Identify and report risks, delays and potential commercial issues.
