Job summary

Claret Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead on-site activities at Bury St Edmunds. You will plan and coordinate labour, plant and materials, ensuring tasks meet safety and quality standards while managing subcontractors and site teams.

The role requires SMSTS, Gold Card and UK driving licence, with a competitive salary based on experience and a supportive, equal-opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3/4 site supervision or equivalent qualification required.
• SMSTS and Gold Card holders preferred.
• First Aid certificate and EUSR water hygiene beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise site work and activities.
• Monitor progress and report to ensure client standards are met.
• Manage workers, resources, and equipment on site.
• Ensure correct construction methods and quality standards.
• Coordinate site operations with subcontractors and traffic management.
• Prepare RAMS and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Submit required paperwork and maintain records on time.
• Promote health, safety and environmental practices on site.
