Job summary

Apex Resources LTD in Manchester is seeking a Project Manager to oversee civil construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence, and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will lead site teams, subcontractors, engineers, and clients, manage programmes, budgets, and forecasts, and report on performance, costs, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil works (earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration experience.
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Develop and manage project programs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Monitor progress and address risks, variations, and delays.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Prepare and report on project performance, costs, and timelines.
