Job summary

Code Resources LTD in Leeds is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our established infrastructure team. You will design highway and drainage schemes for large commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare developments, working in a hybrid office environment with chartered engineer mentorship.

The role requires 5+ years of civil design experience, knowledge of Section 38/278 road design and drainage standards, and proficiency with Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, PDS and InfoDrainage; you will

Senior CIvil Design Engineer (infrastructure/roads/drainage)

Leeds ( 2 to 3 days from home)

c£45k - 55k + package + bonus

We are pleased to be partnering with a well established and growing civil structural engineering consultancy to recruit a senior civil engineer offering the opportunity to contribute in the design of a variety of civil schemes and the infrastructure elements of structural schemes across sectors including commercial, retail, industiral, health.

As a Civil Design Engineer you will join an established team working in modern offices (with hybrid working) offering an above average remuneration package and good opportunity for training and progression (and to gain chartership should you so wish).

About you and the role

• 5yrs + civil design experience
• Work closely with the structural engineering team and will be responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes for a range of large and prestigious commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare developments
• Experience in road (Section 38 and Section 278) and drainage (Section 106, 104 and 184) design
• You should have a good working knowledge of softwares such as Civil 3D, Causeway flow, PDS, infodrainage
• Experience in preparing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategy reports, with the ability to undertake all work independently and manage projects through to completion.
