Job summary

WSP, Cambridge office, is seeking an Associate / Associate Director to provide technical leadership to design teams and deliver quality on time and budget.

You will mentor junior team members, drive business development, and lead development projects across civil engineering disciplines, collaborating with stakeholders and the Technical Leadership Group. Join a global practice shaping infrastructure across land development and construction.

Qualifications

• A BEng / BSc (Hon) in Civil Engineering or other relevant qualification with experience in managing development projects.
• Excellent inter-personal skills with good leadership and management abilities.
• Strong commercial and strategic capability with a demonstrable track record in having identified and delivered new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic direction and highly visible leadership.
• Exhibiting and demonstrating behaviours in accordance with WSP core values.
• Leading design teams and mentoring junior team members.
• Engaging with the Technical Leadership Group to promote technical innovation and best practice.
• Track record in securing new workstreams and generating new business opportunities in the Development sector.
