Job summary

Arup is seeking graduates to join its Site Development teams in the UK. You will contribute to civil engineering design and delivery across energy, water, transport, and cities planning portfolios, supporting projects from concept to construction.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, producing high-quality designs and reports, and engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical and innovative outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Skills and experience relating to AutoCAD/MicroStation, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage and use of AI/Data/Digital tools to support engineering design would be useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for large-scale infrastructure and other Site Development projects including energy, water, transport (rail and highways), nuclear decommissioning, brownfield redevelopment sites, buildings projects and public realm.
• Develop site layouts, drainage strategies, earthworks designs, access arrangements and utility coordination solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and sustainable engineering designs.
• Produce technical designs, drawings, calculations and reports to a high standard.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and project teams to develop practical and innovative outcomes.
