Conrad Consulting Ltd. seeks a Project Health & Safety Advisor to support a major civil engineering project in Havant, Hampshire. You will work with the Senior HSE Manager to implement HSE plans, RAMS and safe systems of work across sites while promoting a positive safety culture.

Travel to other UK project locations and overnight stays may be required as the project progresses, offering a strong development path within a leading infrastructure contractor.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within civil engineering or infrastructure construction.
• Experience preparing RAMS, risk assessments and HSE reports.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and safe working practices.
• Excellent communication with site teams, management and clients.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK, including overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence and IT competent.
• Experience with RAMS reviews and incident investigations.

Responsabilités

• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of HSE management plans and Construction Phase Plans.
• Prepare, review and advise on RAMS, risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and workforce engagement sessions.
• Provide practical HSE guidance to project managers and subcontractors.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks; identify improvements.
• Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with HSE procedures, legislation and client standards.
• Identify project-specific risks and develop appropriate control measures.
• Maintain HSE records, reports and KPIs.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and engagement.
• Liaise with clients and attend progress meetings for updates.
