Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across South England. You will work with site teams and management to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure high standards on project delivery.

The role requires knowledge of health and safety management systems (ISO 45001 preferred), NEBOSH or equivalent, CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.

Qualificações

• Experience with health and safety management systems; ISO 45001 knowledge preferred.
• NEBOSH qualification or an equivalent health and safety qualification is required.
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support development, implementation and improvement of health and safety management systems across civil engineering projects.
• Promote a proactive health and safety culture across site teams and project delivery functions.
• Ensure works comply with current HSE legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits across active project sites.
• Identify, record and monitor non-conformances (NCRs) with effective corrective actions.
• Assist with incident investigations including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Support the introduction of new processes, technologies and safe working practices.
• Work closely with site teams, engineers and management to continually improve health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety management systems across civil engineering projects.
• Promote a proactive health and safety culture across site teams and project delivery functions.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with current HSE legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits across active project sites.
• Identify, record and monitor non–conformances (NCRs), ensuring corrective actions are implemented and effectively closed out.
• Assist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis and the communication of lessons learned.
• Support the introduction of new processes, technologies and safe working practices.
• Work closely with site teams, engineers and management to maintain and continually improve health and safety standards.

Experience and Qualifications

• Be able to display previous experience working with health and safety management systems, with ISO 45001 knowledge preferred.
• NEBOSH qualification or an equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
