Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is building a Civils & Facilities Project Manager capability at its Rugby site in the UK. You will establish and lead civil engineering and facilities management for the North Europe business, shaping the team, delivering day-to-day operations, and guiding the long-term vision.

You will manage a diverse mix of internal and contracted teams, drive safe and reliable environments, and align delivery with production needs and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in civil engineering, construction project management, or facilities management.
• Proven experience discharging CDM Regulations 2015 duties as principal designer or principal contractor.
• Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation (HSWA, HSE regs, ISO 45001/ISO 14001).
• Demonstrable experience managing multi-million pound budgets and building financial cases for investment.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil, structural, and workspace projects from concept to handover, including surveys, design input, budgeting, contractor selection, delivery, commissioning and sign-off.
• Discharge principal designer and principal contractor duties under CDM 2015 for refurbishment and construction works.
• Ensure civil works are planned with risk assessments, method statements, permits, and safe systems of work.
• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and appearance of Rugby site facilities and office areas.
• Develop preventive maintenance programmes for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Maintain statutory compliance across electrical, gas, water, fire safety, and F-Gas systems.
