Jones Bros Ltd. is seeking an Estimator to prepare and develop estimates and contract proposals for a varied range of civil engineering projects.

Predominantly based at our head office in Ruthin, with visits to sites as required, you will report directly to the Lead Estimator. You will join a collaborative team where practical thinking, initiative and problem-solving are valued and will have opportunities to develop estimating knowledge, broaden experience and take on increasing levels of

Qualificações

• Experience in estimating, quantity surveying or commercial management.
• Ability to review tender information and develop robust estimates.
• Practical understanding of civil engineering construction methods, resources and costs.

Responsabilidades

• Managing tender information and reviewing contract requirements.
• Developing resource-based estimates from drawings, specifications, programmes and other tender information.
• Obtaining, reviewing and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Producing take-offs, bills of quantities and robust bid submissions.
• Identifying tender risks, opportunities and wider commercial considerations.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the business to develop competitive, accurate and well-supported proposals.
