Jones Bros Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Bid Manager to assess tender information and develop robust technical solutions, bid responses, tender programmes and project proposals for a varied portfolio of civil engineering projects.

Working predominantly from our head office in Ruthin or our office in Cardiff, with flexibility for partial remote working and visits to sites as required, you will report directly to the Senior Bid Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in bid management, pre-construction or tender planning.
• Ability to review tender information and develop robust solutions.
• Practical understanding of civil engineering construction methods.
• Knowledge of temporary works requirements and technical solutions.
• Experience with development of construction or tender programmes using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with colleagues, suppliers and sub-contractors.

Responsabilités

• Assess tender documents, drawings, specifications and site information to identify submission requirements.
• Develop robust technical solutions from drawings, specifications, site information and other tender documentation.
• Obtaining and assessing design proposals and quotations.
• Preparing robust technical documentation for tender submissions.
• Identifying tender risks, opportunities and key considerations.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop competitive and well-supported proposals.
