Job summary

Anglian Water invites you to join as a Civil Engineer in a permanent role based in Peterborough. You’ll work on clean water and wastewater infrastructure, contributing to design and delivery across the project lifecycle, with a salary of £47,000-£56,000.

Bring a 2:1 BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering, knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes, and experience with pipelines, open channels and CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit.

Qualifications

• Requires BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum 2:1.
• Proven experience in design and delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Knowledge of British Standards/Eurocodes and hydraulic principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply British Standards and Eurocodes in design of pipelines, open channels, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Produce design sketches, review models, and contribute to CAD/modelling work.
• Ensure designs meet health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare PCI, Health and Safety Files and Quality Assurance Files.
