Anglian Water is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Peterborough team on a permanent basis. You will support the full project lifecycle from feasibility through construction, delivering electrical designs for clean water or wastewater facilities while integrating control systems and instrumentation.

You will work within a collaborative team, applying rigorous technical standards, communicating clearly, and driving innovation in delivery and safety.

Formación

• Degree or higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and related disciplines.
• Experience delivering electrical designs for clean water or waste water projects, instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to produce engineering calculations, specifications, and technical schedules.
• Solid project engineering experience within utilities or related industries.

Responsabilidades

• Producing technical deliverables such as calculations, data sheets, and specifications.
• Designing electrical systems for clean water or waste water treatment plants.
• Developing and integrating control, monitoring, and telemetry systems.
• Designing instrumentation systems and main incoming electrical supply arrangements.
• Delivering electrical installation designs, including for hazardous areas.
• Preparing subcontract specifications and undertaking technical bid evaluations.
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, health and safety requirements, and quality processes.
• Attending site surveys and providing technical support during delivery.
• Monitoring progress against cost and programme, escalating issues where required.
• Driving innovation by researching and introducing new processes, tools, and ways of working.
