Strata Consulting Limited in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to take ownership of design, coordination and delivery on a diverse portfolio of development and infrastructure projects across the UK.

The role involves designing drainage, producing highway designs (S278/S38), managing projects from concept to delivery, preparing drawings and reports, and mentoring junior engineers. The company offers CPD, ICE accreditation support, private healthcare and flexible/hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in a Civil Engineering role or equivalent.
• Experience with drainage and highway design standards and regulations.
• Experience coordinating with developers, architects and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Design drainage systems in line with Sewers for Adoption and relevant standards.
• Produce highway designs (S278/S38) per DMRB and Manual for Streets.
• Manage projects from concept through delivery.
• Prepare high-quality drawings, reports and documentation.
• Support fee proposals and project submissions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
• Assist with resource planning and project delivery.
• Support business development and identify new opportunities.
