Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Contract Civil Engineer to join a well-established consultancy in Cardiff on an initial 3-month basis, with the potential for permanent work. The role offers hybrid working and a competitive hourly rate.

The successful candidate will deliver drainage, SuDS and infrastructure design, liaise with clients and contractors, and produce high-quality drawings. MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Comfortable working independently and liaising with stakeholders.
• Experience with drainage design standards is advantageous.
• Open to range from experienced to Principal level.

Civil Engineer - Contract

Cardiff

£33.00-£40.00 per hour (Outside IR35)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contract Civil Engineer to join a well-established consultancy in Cardiff on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for a permanent position for the right person.

Applications are welcomed from experienced Civil Engineers through to Principal level.

The role will involve delivering a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, with particular emphasis on drainage, SuDS and infrastructure design. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, producing high-quality designs and drawings, and liaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Experience with MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, SuDS, SFA and DMRB would be advantageous, although the client is open to candidates with broader civil engineering experience.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking an immediate contract role with the added possibility of securing a permanent position.
