Job summary

ICE Recruit in Cardiff seek an experienced Civil Technician for a contract role. The team has recent project wins and is looking to appoint immediately with potential to go permanent for the right person.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' UK experience in civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy, and be confident with Civil 3D and AutoCAD for highway and drainage designs. MicroDrainage and Flow experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' UK experience in civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience with MicroDrainage and Flow is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil and infrastructure drawings, especially highway and drainage designs.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
• Occasional site attendance to monitor progress and liaise with contractors and clients.

Civil Technician - Contract

Cardiff

£33.00-£36.00 per hour (Outside IR35)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civils Technician to join our client's busy Cardiff office on a contract basis.

Following a number of exciting project wins, the team is looking to appoint someone immediately, with the potential for the contract to become a permanent position for the right person.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' UK experience within a civil engineering or multidisciplinary consultancy and will be confident working across multiple projects. The role will involve producing detailed civil and infrastructure drawings, particularly relating to highway and drainage design, while working closely with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.

Strong Civils 3D and AutoCAD skills are essential, and experience with packages such as MicroDrainage and Flow would be an advantage.

There will be opportunities to attend site, monitor progress and liaise with contractors and clients to help resolve any issues that arise.
