Civil Engineer

£37k-£42k plus benefits

Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy who, due to an expanding workload, have a vacancy for a Civil Engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

Civil Engineering Team Projects:

1. Detailed design of residential, industrial, commercial & educational developments
2. Detailed design of roads, drainage, bridges, retaining walls & earthworks
3. Detailed design of S38/S278 schemes & highway improvements
4. Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments
5. Site appraisals, feasibility studies & pre-application advice

Requirements:

1. Hold a degree in Civil Engineering (ideally 2:1 or above) obtained within the UK
2. Industry experience as a Civil Engineer desirable
3. Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
4. Experience using AutoCAD & MicroDrainage (WinDes) desirable

Duties:

1. Dealing with clients, local authorities & in-house teams
2. Detailed design of roads & drainage infrastructure
3. Producing technical & pre-planning reports on flood risk, drainage & utilities
