A Day in the Life as a Water Resources Civil Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will help manage engineering projects to ensure client satisfaction with our high-quality work. Your responsibilities include supporting the planning, design, and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with local officials, water and wastewater service providers, and environmental and health agencies to deliver cost-effective and operationally efficient solutions. Your communication skills will be vital when interacting with clients during site visits and meetings. Your personal motivation, skills, and interest will support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• West Virginia Engineer In Training (EIT) certification
• Experience with design and construction of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects in a consulting environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, including Civil 3D
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
