Job summary

L J B MANAGEMENT & RECRUITMENT SERVICES LIMITED is seeking an experienced CSA Engineer for an on-site role in Blyth, Northumberland, on a major data centre construction project.

The CSA Engineer will lead civil, structural and architectural works, coordinate with MEP and BIM teams, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on site.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent trades background.
• Minimum 6+ years experience on data centres or large-scale construction projects.
• Must be based within commutable distance of Blyth.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSA works across the project zone, ensuring civil, structural and architectural elements meet spec.
• Supervise subcontractors, review method statements, RFIs and submittals to maintain momentum.
• Coordinate interfaces with MEP, commissioning and BIM teams for design integration.
• Perform site inspections, monitor progress and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Prepare CSA reports and trackers and support client-facing meetings.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage CSA works across your assigned project zone, ensuring civil, structural, and architectural elements are delivered to specification, aligned with design intent, and fully integrated into the broader data centre construction sequence.

Oversee Contractor Performance & Technical Compliance

Supervise subcontractor activities daily, ensuring workmanship meets required quality standards, drawings, and technical submittals. Review method statements, RFIs, and technical queries, driving timely resolution and maintaining construction momentum.

Interface with MEP & Commissioning Teams

Collaborate closely with MEP, commissioning, and BIM teams to coordinate interfaces, eliminate clashes, support design integration, and maintain a smooth flow of construction activities across critical clean and grey spaces.

Monitor Progress, Safety & Quality on Site

Perform structured site inspections, monitor progress against programme, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Identify risks, defects, and non-conformances early, driving corrective actions and maintaining high delivery standards throughout the build.

Support Documentation, Reporting & Client Communication

Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports, update trackers, maintain CSA documentation, and support client-facing meetings. Ensure all information related to CSA works is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project governance procedures.
