Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) | Belfast

At Vickerstock, we are pleased to be working alongside one of Northern Ireland's longest standing multi-disciplinary design consultancies to recruit for the position of Civil Designer to join their talented Civil Infrastructure team. Due to a rapidly increasing pipeline of work, this role is to satisfy their upcoming variety of highly complex projects including public realm, environmental improvement schemes, blue/green infrastructure, MUGAs and greenways, play parks, and sport/leisure.

Your new role as a Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure)

As Civil Design Engineer, you will become a valued member of an already established Infrastructure team. It is your responsibility to prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for various elements of civil infrastructure schemes. You will prepare design packages and civil drawings using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, PDS and Microsoft Office software.

What you will need to succeed as a Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure)

• Applicants must have a degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture or related construction discipline.
• Civil Design experience, preferably on Civil Infrastructure projects using the design packages noted above and ability to work effectively under pressure, to deadlines and as part of a team.
• 1-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Public Realm / Greenways / Civil Infrastructure projects would be advantageous but not essential.
