Structural Design Engineer who has post-qualification experience with the ability to work independently is required to play a crucial role within the business and work on a variety of exciting projects in Northern Ireland.SALARY: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum + BenefitsLOCATION: Remote Working Available. Youll work directly with the Managing Director and the Chartered Principal Engineers on meaningful, high-value projects that stretch your creativity and technical skillset.The company offer true flexibility, genuine autonomy, and a strong focus on professional growth including full support toward IStructE Chartership. Youll play a key role in shaping not only your projects but also the future of the company as they continue to grow.DUTIESYour duties as the Structural Design Engineer include:Lead and deliver design work on a variety of structural projects across multiple sectorsPerform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry to Eurocode and British StandardsDesign foundations and geotechnical elements in collaboration with internal and external consultantsUse engineering software including Axis VM, SCIA/StatiCa, and Tekla Tedds to support project deliveryProduce design calculations, reports, sketches, technical specifications, and material take-offsCoordinate effectively with CAD/Revit Technicians and ensure design intent is communicated clearlyAttend and contribute to design team meetings, client meetings, and site visitsMentor junior engineers and support a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvementHelp manage commercial performance, ensuring project budgets and timescales are metMaintain a high standard of technical excellence and ensure compliance with relevant codes and internal QACANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSAs the Structural Design Engineer youll have the following:MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering from a recognised UK or international universityPrevious post-qualification experience in a consultancy environmentFocused on achieving IStructE Chartership within the next 69 months (full support provided)Confident communicator with strong technical and interpersonal skillsAble to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines without compromising on qualityA proactive mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving and client deliveryExperience across a variety of structural materials and familiarity with UK building regulationsBENEFITSExcellent base salaryFull remote working to support flexibilityFull support for IStructE Chartership, including mentoring by Chartered Engineers and the MDFast-tracked career development with clearly defined progression routesAccess to a diverse project portfolio ranging in value and complexityA values-led, supportive team culture where ideas and initiative are celebratedThe chance to be part of a growing, dynamic consultancy thats making a mark in the industryAPPLY TODAYBy submitting your job application to us you are hereby giving us your express consent to submit your details to our Client for this purpose.JOB REF: AWDO-P13442Full-Time, Permanent Engineering Jobs, Careers and Vacancies.
