Trant Engineering Ltd. is seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer in Southampton to join IDS and work across feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.

You will collaborate with the design team and clients on water industry projects, aiming to deliver fit-for-purpose, compliant civil solutions in accordance with UK standards. The role offers opportunities to develop professional membership (ICE) and progress within a multi-disciplinary team, with hybrid opportunities and

Qualifications

• Higher Education (NVQ+).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Membership of a Professional Engineering Institution is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage design interfaces across the Civil discipline.
• Develop civil detail design deliverables to eurocodes and specs.
• Mentor junior team members and support in design reviews.
