Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Civil Engineer for a Bristol-based hybrid contract. The role requires 4-5 years in infrastructure design and will focus on drainage, highways and earthworks across residential, commercial and industrial developments.

You will deliver designs, produce drainage and SDA designs, and coordinate with other disciplines using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage. Office presence three days per week is required.

Qualifications

• Around 4-5 years' experience within civil engineering and infrastructure design.
• Strong design experience across drainage, highways and/or earthworks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience using InfoDrainage.
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline would be preferred.
• Able to work from the Bristol office three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering designs across a range of development projects.
• Produce drainage and sustainable drainage designs and calculations.
• Undertake highways, external works and infrastructure design.
• Develop earthworks, levels and site grading designs.
• Produce and coordinate drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Undertake drainage modelling and design using InfoDrainage.
• Coordinate civil engineering designs with other disciplines and external consultants.
• Produce technical design information throughout different stages of projects.
• Provide technical input and support to project teams.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers to resolve design and coordination issues.
