Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a qualified Litigation Solicitor to join a busy Dispute Resolution team on a maternity cover contract. You will handle a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes and provide strategic, practical advice to clients.

The role requires strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience handling litigation or dispute resolution matters.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters
• Advising clients on litigation strategy, risk and prospects of success
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and settlement agreements
• Conducting legal research and providing clear, practical advice
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings where appropriate
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent client service
• Maintaining compliance and effective file management throughout the life of a matter
• Assisting with business development and networking activities
