Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a Litigation Solicitor/Associate to join a respected dispute resolution team in Taunton. The role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious matters for commercial and private clients, with opportunities for progression within a supportive and ambitious firm.

You will manage your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on larger cases, including commercial litigation, property disputes, probate, professional negligence and debt recovery, with hybrid working and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' PQE in litigation
• At least 12 months' experience handling litigation matters
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Confident managing own caseload while collaborating with a larger team

Responsibilities

• Manage own portfolio of litigation matters, both commercial and private client disputes
• Support senior lawyers on larger, more complex cases
• Handle commercial litigation and contractual disputes
• Handle partnership and shareholder disputes
• Handle property-related disputes
• Handle contentious probate and inheritance disputes
• Handle professional negligence matters
• Handle debt recovery and business-related claims
• Engage in business development, networking and profile-raising activities across the region
