Emtech Recruitment is seeking a Civil CAD Technician for its Swindon office to assist in preparing detailed infrastructure designs for residential, commercial and leisure developments. You will liaise with clients and design teams, attend site visits, and develop your technical knowledge through on-project learning and external CPD, with increasing responsibility over time.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/degree), AutoCAD 2D experience (3D a bonus), and

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/degree) is required.
• AutoCAD 2D experience is essential; 3D CAD experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of PDS, Civil 3D, Site 3D and/or InfoDrainage is desirable, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed civil and infrastructure designs.
• Working on residential, commercial and leisure developments.
• Liaising with clients, council officers and other design team members.
• Attending site visits and meetings with experienced colleagues.
• Developing technical knowledge through on-project learning and external training.
• Working towards increasing responsibility and professional development.
